UX DESIGN PROJECTS

Below are apps that were created and redesigned in Figma. The link to my prototype for Vintage Vista Theaters is located at the bottom of this page. As well as a mockup showing my process in completing this app design. I hope you enjoy seeing the process of my work and how much I have improved since I received my degree in 2025.

Vintage Vista
Theaters

This prototype was created in Figma. It was designed for a mockup movie theater app where users can order movie tickets, food, and drinks all within the app. This design is my best yet, and I am proud of the way this project came out.

Craigslist:
Mockup Redesign

This redesign was created in Figma. I wanted to give the Craigslist app a better design, including a visually appealing theme, enhancing their color palette, and incorporating a variety of iconography and graphics. This redesign was part of my final project at National University.

Planet Fitness:
Mockup Redesign

This prototype was also created in Figma. This app is a redesign of the Planet Fitness mobile app. This project was created in my first UX Design course at National University.

Design Process: Vintage Vista Theaters

Explore my innovative UX design wireframe. My main focus was to create user-centered designs that enhance usability and engagement.

Wireframes

I started by creating hand-drawn wireframes to quickly explore different layout ideas for the Seat Selection screen. At this stage, I focused on the overall structure and user flow instead of visual design. Sketching allowed me to test ideas, make changes easily, and decide what information users needed first before moving into digital designs.

Low- Fidelity Prototype

Once I finalized the layout, I recreated the design as a low-fidelity prototype. This helped me organize the placement of the screen, seating chart, and navigation while keeping the design simple. The low-fidelity prototype made it easier to gather early feedback and identify usability issues before spending time on visual details.

High-Fidelity Mockup

After reviewing feedback from the usability study, I created the high-fidelity prototype by adding colors, typography, icons, and interactive elements. I refined the seating layout to make seat availability easier to understand and ensured the design felt clean, intuitive, and easy to navigate. The final prototype closely represents what the finished app would look and feel like.

Important Note*

In order to complete the prototype, you must click on the Star Shrek movie to test the user path. The other movies will NOT take you to the checkout page.
